Baby GO and Super Baby GO for BlackBerry

Q: why can’t I download any activities?
A: BlackBerry devices can be setup in a variety of ways and in some cases, downloading our hosted, activities in BabyGO! and Super BabyGO! may not work after installation. If you are having trouble downloading activities, you can try one of these workarounds:

1. check application permissions

In many cases, the application permissions don’t get set properly preventing the application from accessing our hosted activity server.
From the BlackBerry home screen, select Options \ Advanced Options \ Applications
Highlight the application, press menu and select ‘Edit Permissions’
Ensure all three options are set to ‘Allow’. You may need to reboot the device

2. BabyGO! connection setting

BabyGO! can connect to our hosted activity server in several ways. By default it is set to automatic, but you can configure it to see if a different connection method helps
From the BabyGO! home screen, select Options
From the Options screen, scroll to the bottom of the page. The last option
is ‘Connection Method’
Un-select ‘Automatic’
You will have to scroll down a little more after un-selecting Automatic to
access the dropdown list of connection methods
You can try ‘Direct TCP/IP’ or ‘WiFi’ to see if that helps.
After selecting a new connection method, you will have to exit the
application and re-launch BabyGO!

3. Changing the location to save downloaded activities

In some cases, an IT policy will prevent you from downloading an activity and saving it to your SD card. In those cases, you can try changing the location of the saved content.
1. Launch BabyGO!
2. Go to Options
3. Scroll down to the bottom, at the ‘Activity Storage’ option, change the
option from SD card to ‘device filesystem’ or ‘persistent store’, exit the application and re-launch.

Q: How do I exit the game?
A: You must press certain keys on your device in a specific order. By default these are the red and green phone keys – to exit, touch the red key and then the green key. In order to protect your device, BabyGO! and Super BabyGO! also allow you to customize this key combination. You can look at what your exit key sequence is, or change it, from the main screen by opening the menu and selecting Options. You can also require a password or an email address for additional security.
Remember – the application is designed to keep little ones from accessing sensitive information on your device, so the only way to exit the application is to press the right key sequence, or reboot your device (by pulling the battery out)!

Q: After installing the application, I am asked to reboot indefinitely?
A:In order to block calls and save activities to SD cards, BabyGO! and Super BabyGO! require changes to permission settings. Those changes may require a device reboot. In some cases, the device reports that it needs to reboot indefinitely. In those cases, follow this simple procedure:
1. Go to AppWorld or Zeebu.com and download the latest version of either application.
2. Reinstall BabyGO! or Super BabyGO! on top of the existing application (Do not uninstall)
3. Reboot if asked.
